5 Best Natural Homemade Drinks to Achieve Glowing Skin

1. Cucumber water

Cucumbers are naturally high in vitamins and minerals and contain a lot of water. Cucumber’s moisturizing quality helps to nourish, hydrate, and control excess oil production on the skin. Cucumber water can be made using the procedure listed below:

Ingredients

Cucumber – 1

Lemon – 2

Water – 4 glasses

Mint leaves – 10 to 12

Preparation Method

--> Peel the cucumber and cut it into slices; similarly, slice the lemons too.

--> In a glass jar, add water, add sliced cucumber, and lemons to it, and top it with some mint leaves.

--> Allow it to rest for 2 - 3 hours; now the drink is ready.

Note: Drinking this water will help you stay hydrated throughout the day. It naturally removes toxins from the body and helps maintain healthy, glowing skin.

2. Green Tea

Green tea speeds up the metabolism, which is often very slow in the morning. Drinking green tea in the morning boosts metabolism, improves skin conditions, treats acne, unclogs pores, etc. The following is a method to prepare it in two different ways:

Method 1

Ingredients

Green tea leaves – 2Tbsp

Water – 2 glasses

Honey (optional) – 1Tbsp

Preparation Method

--> In a saucepan, add water and allow it to boil. Add green tea leaves once the water has reached the boiling point.

--> Once the water level is reduced to 1 glass, strain the tea. If you want, you can add a tablespoon of honey to it.

--> Enjoy the cup of tea after allowing it to warm up.

Method 2

Ingredients

Green tea bag – 1

Hot water – 1 glass

Honey (optional) – 1Tbsp

Preparation Method

--> Add a green tea bag to a glass of water

--> After 2 to 5 minutes, squeeze the green tea bag and take it out. You can add a tablespoon of honey if you want

--> Enjoy the cup of green tea after allowing it to warm up. 

3. Coconut Water

Coconut water is a powerhouse of vitamins B2, B3, and C. It helps prevent skin dryness and improves skin elasticity. It also helps to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. Most importantly, it naturally hydrates the skin.

4. Fruits Juice

Freshly prepared fruit juices are full of vitamins and other nutrients that are good for the skin. The following fruits can be used to make fruit juices:
